Tornado Warnings
I tear through these streets
Whipping up dust and debris
Unable to find my balance
Breathe escaping
Rushing through my fingers
Desperate to put it all back

Fevered, teetering, beginning
To slow to an uneasy
Equilibrium - I'm confronted
With sudden foreboding:
Is it the pain behind my eyes
